Macaroni Kid St. Tammany has plenty of useful features for finding, saving, and sharing articles, guides, and local events. We want you to have the best experience using our website on your computer and mobile devices.

Here are Macaroni Kid St. Tammany's 10 tips and tricks for using our website:

1. Add Macaroni Kid St. Tammany's Events Page link to your phone's home screen

The Macaroni Kid St. Tammany's webpage looks and functions great on mobile devices. You can bookmark the page in your mobile browser, but even better is adding the events page to your phone's home screen. It will work as a reminder to check the calendar, and it super easy!

  • Start from the Macaroni Kid St. Tammany Events Page in your mobile browser.
    • iPhone
      • Tap the Share button at the bottom of the browser
      • Select Add to Home Screen.
    • Android
      • Tap the Create Bookmark icon (star on the top right of the browser page)
      • Tap the drop down menu on Add To & select Home Screen.

2. Search Events & Articles

If you're looking for a particular event or article, no need to comb the schedule day by day or scroll through the articles page. On the top right corner of the Macaroni Kid website there is a search option. Results include a tab Articles and Guides, Events and Businesses listed in our Directory. It can be a bit specific so try variations if something doesn't work. For example parade vs parades.

3. Filter Events

Choose from the drop down menu on the Events Page to find listings for a specific age range, or filter by activity types and holidays.

4. Google Maps

At the bottom of every event listing is a link to open the location in Google Maps, for quick and easy directions.

Also look out for Macaroni Kid Maps that you can import to your own Google Maps. (Coming soon!)

5. Add to Calendar

Add events directly to your personal Google or iCalendar with just one click, located at the bottom of any Macaroni Kid calendar listing. From within your personal calendar you can set up reminders or even add personal notes.

6. Social Media

At the top of each event listing, article, and guide is the option to share it to your own Facebook or Twitter, save it to your Pinterest board, or email it to a friend. Plus you can always share the web link.

7. Weekly Macaroni Kid e-Newsletter

Each weekly newsletter includes upcoming events in and around St. Tammany and articles and guides featuring useful information for families on the Northshore. We also share craft, recipe, and parenting articles written by Macaroni Kid publishers.  The weekly published Editor's Picks for the Weekend will give you ideas on how to find you family fun each weekend in and around St. Tammany.

8. Submit Event

Have an upcoming event you'd like to add to the Macaroni Kid St. Tammany calendar? It's as easy as filling out a Submit Event form, found at the top of the events page. If you've only heard about something and want me to check it out, that's fine too. Fill out what you can, and I'll do the research for you!

9. Guides

Guides contain local information on specific topics right at your finger tips. Check out our Hiking Guide and Pizza Guide. Keep an eye out for new guides coming soon to the website this year.
