The Mississippi Aquarium is a great addition to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. - Holds one-million gallons of both salt and fresh water.
- Contains over 80,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits on 5.8 acres of land.
- Features 12 fresh and salt water habitats and over 200 species of aquatic animals.
- Supports animal research and conservation.

Pelican Pointe Cafe is open 10:30 am - 4:30 pm. The cafe is located outside with covered tables.
Tips:
We recommend planning your visit when the weather is nice. There are several outdoor exhibits that you will not want to miss while you are there. The highlight of the Mississippi Aquarium is the Narrated Dolphin Training Session
Review:
We enjoyed our time at the Mississippi Aquarium and would visit again. We went through the main building twice before viewing the outside exhibits. To maximize your visit to the Mississippi Aquarium, make sure to pick up a daily programs schedule. Check out that exhibit during the time of the daily program to enhance your experience.
